Mall Play areas...

I took E to Story time at Barnes and Noble at Lynnhaven today. After storytime, the group of girls and kiddos ventured up to the play area. Since E has been super clingy, he didn't play all that much, but he did get on a few slides, and ran around a bit.

As he was climbing up a slide, a mother (at least I'm guessing she was the kid's mom) takes her kid and plops him on the slide right in front of E. Last time I checked, I thought we should be teaching our kids manners and how to wait your turn...apparently she was a bit impatient.

Who does this???? It took all I had in me not to haul off and slap some sense into her. It's no wonder that you see so many rude kids running around these places...their parent's haven't got any manners themselves!!!

Crazyness...

I feel like I'm being pulled in 12 different directions...

I like being a hair dresser, but it seems to stress me out more than I enjoy it. A good friend told me to dedicate 2 days a week to it, and if a client can't make those 2 days, then they will have to do it another week. I feel I am too accommodating, and this may be my source of stress. I've considered quitting hair all together...

Ethan is in the clingy phase. Its not as bad at home as when we are out. I step through the door of some one's house and the legs wrap around me and don't let go. I know that its a phase and won't last, but UUGGGHHHH. It makes me want to throw a fit just like he does!!

My husband and I aren't communicating as well as we should be. I can be angry, and think of all the things I want to say to him, but when it comes time to actually say what's on my mind, I go blank. I feel like the only way to get everything out would be to sit and type it....LOL. We need a weekend to ourselves without computers, T.V, distractions...

A Year Ago...

We lost one of the greatest people I've known. My cousin Stephanie passed away March 25, 2008. She was only 21 years old. She was amazing...the sweetest person you will ever meet. Steph...I love you...give kisses to everyone up there for me. Love you

Ethan learned what tea is....now everything that is in a coffee cup is "tea!" So much for my "relaxing" morning cup of coffee.....he wants his tea!
