So...

We went to look at a hot tub today in Newport News. We will be picking it up tomorrow (Beau and his friends will be) I can't wait! 

We want to have a housewarming party...maybe next week?? We'll see!

Relaxing day...

Well sort of. I was a quiet day! Ethan woke up about 6:45 and was just too cute! He sat in our bed and gave me kisses and talked to Chica! 

I did hair this afternoon, and Ethan sat in his highchair and ate cookies and watched! I took some pictures of him this morning to put on our Christmas cards. He was so cute! He got angry because I wouldn't give him the camera. 

Now I'm listening to jets go over, and set off Ethan's toys. Everytime one goes over the play wall starts up! 

Seriously...

My husband just said....you stay at home....Ethan takes naps....and you still don't do shit.

Sick

Yesterday I had bad congestion. Last night I took some night time cold medicine and went to bed not being able to breathe. I woke up at 5am and took some Tylenol Cold Night Time thinking Ethan would sleep until at least 7:30-8ish. Guess who was up at 5:45? Yeah....I gave him some milk and laid him in my bed and he fell asleep on my arm until about 7:15. I am wiped! I can barely keep my eyes open and my nose is running constantly! Uggh! 

Thank goodness Beau is coming home this morning. Hopefully he'll let me go take a nap. He's not feeling well either.

Target had halloween stuff 90% off on Saturday. Naturally, I had to go and look. As if pet costumes weren't enough, they now have Pet Wigs. I'm not going to pass up an 89 cent wig, since I know Chica just loves them. 

And yes....its a Mullet Wig.

Also doubles as a doggy beard.

Getting there...

We started on our "box room" today. I can see carpet!! When all is said and done, that will be our guest room/ tv room. The house is coming together. I can't wait until everything is unpacked and in its place. 

I hosted Bunco last night. There were 6 of us and I broke out the Margarita Machine. I put all those free drink mixers to good use! I never win anything when I play, but it was so much fun! It was great to have a little bit of time for me. 

Tomorrow I am meeting up with some friends to do plans for the week. Shopping, meals, and coupons. I'm trying to gauge what I need to buy and what I have at home that I can use. I always end up buying extra groceries I don't need. We are trying to make our food money stretch. 

My poor baby

My poor little boy! He's had a horrible cough for weeks, and every doctor we've taken him to has said his lungs were clear. Sunday, after a few miserable nights of sleep, we needed to get a second opinion. We took him to Tricare Va Beach, and the ped. there listened to him and said he could hear some congestion in his lungs. They gave him an inhaler and an Aero Chamber. Getting him to sit still is no easy feat. We have to hold him down to get him to take it. He is improving a little...but still coughing a lot. The doctor seems to think he may have had an infection since he had a fever for 2 days. I am hoping that his cough will get better this week, so they won't have to put him on more medicine.
